Silvergate’s Kev Chatburn Takes to the Skies for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital
09/05/19
The sky's the limit for Silvergate Plastics’ daring finance manager, Kev Chatburn, as he takes on a dizzying 10,000 ft skydive to raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
To mark his 50th birthday earlier this year, Kev wanted to take on an unusual challenge whilst raising funds for a charity close to his heart.
Kev, who lives on the Wirral, decided to support the children’s hospital after a friend’s son was transferred there for emergency treatment. He said:
“My friend’s son was transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital after an appendix operation left him with serious complications. He underwent a second operation there and is now recovering well. It made me realise how fortunate we are to live so close to such an outstanding hospital that provides specialist treatment and excellent care.”
Kev will take on the Skydive in June and hopes to raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity. If you would like to support him, please visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kev-chatburn.
