When I took over the role of Managing Director here at Silvergate Plastics, the first thing I wanted to promote was our fantastic team of friendly, approachable and engaging people. On the whole, the plastics industry is predominantly focused on the product and every man and his dog claim they can manufacture the best one! So, amid all the jostling for a place on the best product podium, noise about latest innovations and investments, and of course claims about lowest prices, I’d like to know what really drives you to buy.

I believe the answer is and always should be “people”. We’re lucky here at Silvergate because we have a team of proactive, diligent and above all caring individuals who have our customers’ best interests at heart. It goes without saying (ahem) that our product is the bees’ knees but that is really only possible because of the efforts of our happy and diverse workforce.

Our clever bods in the tech department are busy getting their geek on whilst our smiley sales team are true colour champions and will always go the extra mile for our customers. Everyone else, from our masterbatch processors to our compliance and admin teams, is committed to getting the job done as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Emma Cank, our Sales Executive, nailed the point when she recently said:
